ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Leonard K. Eaton was a professor of
Architectural History at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Michigan for
38 years. He retired and moved to the
small coastal town of Depoe Bay, Oregon where he now resides with his wife,
Ann.
Leonard claims the flora and fauna of
the Oregon Coast have provided him with much to write about, as the Pacific
Northwest is a part of the country where activities of wildlife are of
importance to the public.
The model for Leonard's poetry is Ogden Nash whom he
refers to as a "lovable poet," and wishes he "could emulate the
good nature of this man and his ability to make people laugh. We think he has succeeded.
